Give your child the opportunity to learn new mountain bike skills and explore the great outdoors. We create fun, practice teamwork and build confidence on the trails and learn to ride challenging obstacles.
Each rider will be taught the basic fundamental movement with braking. Riders will gain a better understanding of gearing and braking. Also learning control and balancing techniques for slow speed riding, single track riding, tight turns, switchbacks and riding bridges and skinnies. We will adventure out 2-3 times during the day- having fun practicing our skills on the trails.
Our camps run 9am -4pm
Summer camps are offered as a 2-Day mini-camp or a 5-Day full-camp
Day 1 - Introductions and basic skill assessments with light riding
Day 2 - Skills practice sessions and trail riding
Day 3 - Bike mechanics / Trail maintenance day
Day 4 - Intermediate skills sessions and trail riding
Day 5 - Intermediate/Advanced sessions and trail riding
We encourage Jr. Ride Leaders to volunteer for Monday and Tuesday and participate in camp Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
